Brotherly Baptisms
The sixth purpose of Alpha Gamma Omega fraternity is to deepen the spiritual lives of its members. We are so proud to see that this has come to fruition in the baptism of Luke "california betsy" Wagner into the Orthodox Church of America. The ceremony took place at the Elevation of the Holy Cross Orthodox Church in Sacramento where many brothers of AGO and sisters of ADX were present. It truly was an amazing spiritual experience and we have seen our brother transformed. We are all very excited to see him continue to grow with his new faith.
Etiquette Dinner with Kappa Kappa Gamma
For those of you who were there to witness it, there have been claims that our little Iota chapter of Alpha Gamma Omega was visited by angels. While that is true in a certain sense, it was really the lovely ladies of Kappa Kappa Gamma. The brothers acted as chefs, waiters, and all-around gentlemanly hosts (or at least we're being told that) while a three course meal along with hors d'oeuvre was served. The brothers thank the ladies of Kappa Kappa Gamma for gracing their evening and hope very much to see them again soon.
Two Decades at Davis
Gentlemen, it's true. The Iota chapter has been in existence now for twenty years. Twenty years ago, nine brave and (at the time) young men decided to establish a Christ-centered fraternity with the help of a chapter adviser and the two fraternity parents who are still with us to this day. Seven of those nine founders showed up in Davis along many of the men who had joined along sometime during the twenty years of Iota's existence. There was merriment, music, videos, entertainment, and specialized Martinelli's bottles. There were many photos shared and taken, memories rehashed, and much advice given. ...
